Our schedule

Here is our schedule:

Saturday July 21: Oslo-Reykjavik, Iceland, arriving 15.25. We have rented a car, and we are staying at Hotel Laxnes just outside of Reykjavik.

Sunday July 22: Before our flight to Seattle at 17.00 we are going the "golden route" to see Strokkur, and if we are lucky, good old Geysir himself. We arrive i Seattle 17.45, there we are booked in at Hostelling International, since it is close to the train station.

Monday July 23: Early in the morning we catch the train for Vancouver, where we have rented an appartment for 7 nights at Landis Hotel and Suites, 1200 Hornby street. All are welcome to come and visit us there on the evening of Monday 23 from about 17.00, for some Norwegian specialities.

Monday July 30: We pick up our RV from Canadream and head east for Toronto, where it has to be dropped off at Saturday August 18. We plan to spend up to a week in the Rockies before we start crossing the prairie, stopping at Kathy and Glenn's in Saskatchevan to join in on their harvest. Hopefully we reach Toronto some days before drop off, so that we have time to visit family and see the sights there too. We've understood that experiencing the Niagara falls is a must.

Saturday August 18: Flight to Oslo via Reykjavik, leaving at 21.10.

Question for you: We were originally planning to drive just south of Lake superior and enter Canada again at Sault Ste. Marie. Google maps directs us on the ferry across Lake Michigan between Milwaukee and Muskegon since it takes less time. What is you advice concerning this, regarding sights to see etc.?
