First RV breakfast

First breakfast outside our huge and fantastic motorhome, our home for another 18 nights. We're in Whistler, everyone happy, the weather sunny. Aslak is finishing off Michael's tasty spice cake, his favourite.

Vancouver art gallery

Aslak, Frode and Tori visited the art gallery with a Matisse exhibition. A nice museum! Aslak wanted to stay longer, but we're leaving today, and the old parents needed a coffee. There is a really nice cafe, like an oasis in the middle of the city.

The whole of yesterday we spent in Stanley Park, including riding around it on rental bikes. Aslak hasn't been very keen on bike riding so far, but this trip changed that, now he wants to go bike riding all the time.

Dinner with a view

On Friday evening we were invited to dine with the Moen family.

 The food was fantastic! And the view. too!

Fun at Science World

Science World Vancouver 

 We spent five hours in Science world yesterday, 

including film in the huge Omnimax Theatre, 

The Rocky Mountain Express

We are the Champions!

It turns out the final was not played, because the Mexican team they were supposed to meet, had already gone home. Problems with plane tickets, it seems. They probably did not think they would reach the final.

So, Lavrans' team (Lillehammer boys 13 years) is the winner of Dana Cup 2012!
