The whole of yesterday we spent in Stanley Park, including riding around it on rental bikes. Aslak hasn't been very keen on bike riding so far, but this trip changed that, now he wants to go bike riding all the time.

Kitsilano Beach BBQ
We had a great day on the beach yesterday!
My "third cousins" (firemenninger) Tyler and Michael, who Åsne and I met in 1980, and Tyler's partner Robin, invited us for a bbq on the beach. The weather was splendid, and the water was not bad either. We had sucha a great time that we completely forgot to take photos, but lucklily Robin took many, and was kind enough to send them to us in the evening.

Evening walk
We had a lovely evening walk last night! |

We walked along the seaside to Stanley Park. A beautiful, sunny evening in Vancouver. We save the rest of the park for another day.
On the way back, we bought some food for supper in a grocery store. Tried to buy beer too, but learnt we had to do that in a liquor store.

No parade in Vancouver
There was no parade to welcome us in Vancouver, maybe we'll go back home again.... No. Vancouver is so great that it doesn't need to throw parades. Trip to Grouse mountain yesterday with Mariela, Melissa, Brenda and Warren. We had a great time, this morning Aslak asked us if we were to see them again, nodding his head when we asked him if he would like to.
