We arrived at their place on Saturday evening. We were supposed to call for directions at the hill top after the dam at Diefenbaker Lake. But we had no signal at that point, so we just went ahead and stopped at a house some km later. A man with a big white dog told us we had some 100 miles to go -but then he pointed us to the farm, it was quite close actually.
Douglas, my 2nd cousin, and Mary Ellen's cousin, came for supper (Mary Ellen is also my 2nd cousin). We visited Douglas' farm in 1980, so it was really nice to meet him again. I thought we had a photo from the supper, but couldn't find one. So if anybody else mada a photo, please send us one!
They had three spare bed rooms, and some of us chose to sleep in the house in stead of in the motor home.
Aslak had a close look at the quilts on the beds before he decided where to sleep. Guess which one he chose!
Mary Ellen had made them all, she showed us another one too, really beautiful!!
